Internal Family Systems® Workshop:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Join us for a special Internal Family Systems (IFS) workshop! This presentation will provide behavioral health professionals with an overview of obsessive compulsive disorder through the lens of IFS. It will present a bridge from the evidenced-based treatment approaches proven to be effective with OCD to the mechanisms of multiplicity, unblending, compassion and the wisdom of Self at work in IFS therapy. The neurobiological foundations of OCD contribute to the challenging nature of the OCD protective system which can be extremely entrenched and frequently require some additional understanding and assistance in order for obsessive and compulsive parts to let go of their extreme roles. This workshop will present a biopsychosocial model for IFS assessment and treatment of OCD that addresses the treatment gaps and limitations of standard empirically supported modalities.

This workshop will be taught by Melissa Mose, LMFT. She is a Level 3 trained and Certified Internal Family Systems therapist and an IFSI-approved professional consultant. She has served on staff as a PA for multiple Level 1 and Level 2 experiential IFS trainings through the IFS Institute.

This presentation will be recorded; the recording will be sent to all registrants about one week after the workshop is complete. Those seeking continuing education credit *must* attend live. We may also offer the recording later as an on-demand workshop with different pricing.
