PARTS
Program for Alleviating and Reducing Trauma and Stress
Supporting mental health with Internal Family Systems
Following the promising results of the PARTS study, we're proud to introduce PARTS, a clinical Internal Family Systems (IFS) program offering a non-pathologizing, empowering approach to managing stress and addressing traumatic experiences and related symptoms. PARTS provides a safe, compassionate environment to learn how to view thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as “parts” of oneself with open curiosity. PARTS offers opportunities to:
Gain a non-pathologizing, empowering perspective on cognition and emotions
Achieve remarkable results in trauma treatment
Cultivate trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationships
Elevate well-being and maintain an open-hearted practice
Honor individual pace and goals with a patient-centered approach
Requirements:
PARTS is available to existing Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) patients, aged 18-75, living in Massachusetts, who have obtained referral from their CHA provider. We are unable to accept self-referrals into PARTS at this time.
PARTS Format:
16-week IFS-based clinical program
Includes a 90-minute weekly group and individual 50-minute counseling sessions every other week
Agreeing to Participate in this Program Means:
Patients agree to conclude with their current CHA therapy provider in order to join this program, as individual sessions are included in the program.
Patients agree to schedule and attend a behavioral health evaluation, billed to insurance, to determine if PARTS is a good fit.
Patients agree to honor the confidential nature of the group sessions.
Patients must be physically located within Massachusetts during the time of each session.
Patients agree not to attend sessions while in a moving vehicle or intoxicated.
