Neeti Mishra Jha, MD, works as a Primary Care Physician at BILHPC’s Marino Center for Integrative Health in Cambridge affiliated with Mt Auburn Hospital. She is a clinical instructor in the department of Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She teaches a mindfulness based wellness curriculum to Internal Medicine residents at Mt. Auburn Hospital. She is currently participating in a Medical Education Fellowship at Mt. Auburn Hospital/Harvard Medical School where her work involves creation of innovative ways of integrating mindfulness techniques in active patient care. She leads group visits for patients at Marino Center for Lifestyle Medicine and Mindfulness. She was born and raised in India. She has been engaging in meditative practices since early childhood encouraged by her family especially her father and grandfather who were themselves experienced lifelong yoga practitioners. In her teen years, she spent some time at an Ashram near Varanasi in India for advanced education in Kriya yoga. Her training in Medicine and Mindfulness streamlines all her personal experiences adding more meaning to her quest of being able to contribute towards wellness using aspects of Mind Body Medicine. She finds joy in her work and other restful activities like storytelling, listening to music, meditation and outdoor adventures with her husband, three children and their dog.
