Izzy Grimaldi is a research fellow at the CHA Center for Mindfulness and Compassion where she works with both the Mindful-RAVANS and the PARTS Study. Izzy is an undergraduate student at Bowdoin College studying neuroscience with deep passion for mindfulness-based programs for mental health. She is working to complete her certification in Traumatic Stress Studies through the Trauma Research Foundation and MBSR Teacher Training certification through Brown University. Izzy completes these courses, alongside her work at the CMC, all in service of developing a more nuanced understanding of innovative and noninvasive psychiatric treatment modalities. In her free time, you might find Izzy reading, playing with her cat, or going to the beach!
