Savannah Wilkinson, MSW (she/her) is a Social Work Fellow at CHA, splitting her work between CHA’s Center for Mindfulness and Compassion and the Outpatient Addiction Treatment program. She completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Boston College with a focus on trauma treatment, following a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Northeastern University.
Savannah’s professional work in recent years has been largely focused on serving unhoused individuals and families in Boston and Cambridge by providing trauma-informed care and clinical interventions, as well as case management and housing search and stabilization services, in her previous roles at St Francis House, Heading Home, Inc., and the Boston Public Health Commission’s Woods Mullen Shelter. Savannah’s extensive time in shelters and low-threshold substance use services has cultivated a commitment to harm reduction principles and philosophy, meeting people where they are and providing care that respects their autonomy and lived experiences. She focuses on empowering clients by addressing immediate needs while also supporting long-term stability and well-being.
