Nancy Sowell is an IFS Senior Trainer, consultant, and therapist who teaches Internationally and in the US. She is a Harvard Medical School teaching associate at the Cambridge Health Alliance where she has been teaching IFS for many years. She integrates mindful awareness of the body, emotions, thoughts, and deeply held beliefs impacting physical and mental health. In her role as the Behavioral Medicine Program Manager of the Division of Rheumatology, Immunology and Allergy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Nancy co-created the IFS program intervention with rheumatoid arthritis patients that enabled IFS to be certified as an evidence-based practice.
