MacKenzie Curtis is a recent graduate of Marist College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Minor in Journalism. MacKenzie is interested in how mindfulness interventions can positively shape the neurodevelopment of children and adolescents. Through her studies at Marist, she conducted several research studies assessing the benefits of mindfulness and Humanistic Psychology approaches on development. She is thrilled to work with the Marketing team at the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion to promote the great work being done here. In the future, MacKenzie hopes to receive her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and become a child therapist.
