Liv Valö, JD, PhD (she/her/hers) is a Postdoctoral Fellow at CMC where she collaborates in mindfulness-oriented therapy and interventional mindfulness research. Previously, she earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maine, working with the Maine Mood Lab to explore relations between biopsychosocial and environmental factors that impact trajectories of risk and resilience across the adult lifespan. She also completed her doctoral internship at VA Bedford focusing on geropsychology and third wave therapeutic approaches.

With professional backgrounds in law and wellness, Liv welcomes opportunities to partner in research, clinical, and contemplative practice to promote access to integrated and ecological approaches for growth and wellbeing at all ages.

In time, she enjoys touching ground with family and friends, culinary chaos, visual and performance arts, nature, and the moment.
