Leticia Cuoco is a research assistant at theCenter for Mindfulness & Compassion (CHA), working for the Portuguese Mindful-PC research. Leticia graduated in Psychology in 2002, in Brazil, and completed her Master in Health Psychology at Walden University, USA, in 2017. She is currently enrolled in the Certificate Program for Mindfulness and Psychotherapy at the Institute of Meditation and Psychotherapy (IMP - 2020-2021). During her career in her home country, Leticia worked at the Ministry of Social Development (Federal Government) and at the State Department of Health of Brasilia, where she gained expertise in health and social public policies. She also participated in a private project called “Neurokinetic”, which aims to enhance cognitive skills through sport activities (www.neurokinetic.com.br).
Leticia has been increasingly interested in studying the benefits of mindfulness for health and wellbeing, and has engaged in yoga and meditation practices. She is very grateful for the opportunity to help and learn at the Center.
