Fernando Benetti is a Brazilian student at the Master of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School, where he focuses on Buddhist-based ethnoreligious conflict resolution and peacebuilding initiatives. He also holds an MA degree in Buddhist Studies from Nalanda University, India, and a Certificate in Buddhist Philosophy from Kathmandu University Center of Buddhist Studies, Nepal. In June 2022, Fernando completed a Mindfulness Teacher Training with Inward Bound Mindfulness Education (Ibme), focusing on contemplative practices for teenagers. In addition, Fernando has developed anthropological research on public health topics such as abortion, contraceptive methods, queer theory, etc., and published multiple articles and chapters of books in Brazil.
