Anna Hunt is a research fellow supporting the Skills for Inner & Outer Belonging and MBSR courses, the Mindful Self-Compassion & Grief workshop for bereaved families, and the MySafeRx research study. She graduated from Brown University in 2020 with a degree in psychology. As an undergraduate, she found personal liberation through self-compassion and mindfulness, and found similar success with these techniques in her peer advocacy work. Her research background originated in the public health field of addiction and expanded to include more diverse expressions of mental illness and wellness. Her passions include singing and theatre, baking and running, and yoga and meditation. She hopes to pursue a graduate degree in clinical or counseling psychology, and is grateful for her time at CMC to deepen her practice, learn from others, and nourish a sense of community.
