Ana Baumgart Schreck, MSW, LICSW (pronouns she/her) has been a clinical social worker with the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion (CMC) supporting the CHAMindWell program since 2021. Ana also works in the Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) providing psychotherapy to adult patients. She has been connected with CHA since 2015. Ana is passionate about incorporating mindfulness practices into therapy and committed to practicing holistic medicine.
Ana is a Kripalu Yoga Teacher with over 500 hours of training, and has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2013. Her interest in mindfulness began with her own personal experience exploring the mind-body connection for healing. Her professional degrees include a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston University, with a specialization in group therapy.
Ana’s favorite moments are spent in nature. She hikes the highest peak in New Hampshire, Mount Washington, every year with friends.
